Win Win Win!

With three games left to play and their playoff hopes dwindling, The New York Rangers MUST win tonight's home game against a hot Montreal team. Defenseman Andrei Markov, who is the leading scorer for the Canadiens, and Mathieu Schneider were injured in Saturday's 6-2 win over Toronto and will not be in the lineup for the rest of the regular season. The Rangers have no excuses to not win this game, as they will have their crowd behind them.

They just need to take it one game at a time. Focus on tonight's game and win the hockey game. They must come out of the gate with intensity and send a message to Montreal. In order to win tonight, they need to be very aggressive on the puck, shoot as often as possible, create traffic in front of Montreal's net, and score on the power-play. The Ranger's best players MUST be the best players on the ice for the Rangers to win. It's that simple.

I'd really like to see Torts move up Korpikoski with Dubinsky and Zherdev and put Sjostrom back with Betts and Orr. I think Korpikoski would mesh well with Dubinsky and Zherdev and would thrive with a bit more ice time.

Keys to the Game

1. Henrik Lundqvist

2. Power Play

3. Captains Drury and Gomez

Injury Report- Forward Nik Antropov's knee injury isn't serious and he will likely be in the lineup tonight.
